Where should I park?
Sharing a meal with our church family
There is plenty of parking east of the main buildings. As you turn off Tamiami Trail away from the beach side, you will see the church. Someone will meet you in the parking lot just past the church and point you to the main entrance.
Where should I Go when I get there?
The best place to start is at the welcome center. Thirty minutes before each service someone will greet you at the door and welcome you to our church. There is a gift bag for kids as well as some information about our church. They will point you into our sanctuary, show you where you can grab some coffee or refreshments (all complimentary), and where the restrooms are. Check out our campus map.
What do you have for my kids?
Some of our young people singing in church
Are kids worship with our church family during the first part of our services. At a certain point KIDZ TOWN will be dismissed, and kids k5-6th grade will be sent to the back of the room where our children’s pastor will lead them to our kids room directly behind the sanctuary. For kids not in school yet, you are free to bring them to the nursery before the services where they will be cared for by loving, background screened workers.
What do people wear to church?
Here at Southside, we do not have a dress code. Simply put, wear whatever you feel like wearing. Our congregation spans the spectrum. We have those that wear shorts and t-shirts and others who wear suits and ties and everything in between. We are concerned about the spiritual well-being of those who attend, not with what they are wearing. So wear what makes you feel comfortable.
How long are your services?
Each service is right about an hour. We try to be very conscience of everyone’s time and schedules.
What are your services like?
A View of Our AUDITORIUM
Our desire for each one of our services is to help you take your next step in your walk with the Lord, whatever that may be. We sing a blend of hymns and praise choruses for the purpose of worshiping God and preparing our hearts to receive a message from God's Word. You may hear songs from last month and a song you heard growing up on your grandmas knee in the same service. Every service, our pastor opens up the Bible and tries to help us know how to apply it to our lives in a very practical way.
